Waterstorm 1.0.5 has been released. The update features the very first version of bots (DeathMatch) as well as quite a few fixes. The changelog can be found here. Your installation is automatically updated via the Rarebyte Auto Updater (RAU), so just launch the game and have fun playing against the bots as there are already botmatch game servers up and running. |

It is finally done. Rarebyte releases Waterstorm 1.0.
A massive variety of submarines and weaponry rock the boat in Waterstorm. Bringing you subaqueous battles with jaw-dropping graphics, Waterstorm comes with a completely new business model that introduces two different account types. While there is a free basic version of the game (free account), the so called supporter account provides a lot of extras such as the ad-free portal, honorable in-game supporter icons and supporter-only features in subsequent updates of the game. Players that are interested in the supporter account can decide for themselves how much they want to pay.
You can dive into the world of Waterstorm using Linux, Mac OS X or Windows.
If you have already created an account during our Open Beta Test, just launch the game and the Rarebyte Auto Updater (RAU) will take care of bringing your beta installation to the final 1.0. If you encounter any problems with the installation or update, please do not hesitate to post on the Waterstorm Forum. |
